Terms and conditions
The How to Claim instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering into the NOW TV Promotion (the “Promotion”), participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The Promotion is promoted by LG Electronics U.K. Ltd (the “Promoter”) and administrated by W & J Linney Ltd (the “Administrator”).
This Promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion.
Participants must purchase a qualifying LG Smart TV from any participating UK retailer between Thursday 15 August 2013 and 23:59 GMT Thursday 21st August 2014. A list of qualifying LG Smart TVs for this promotion can be found at www.lg-promo.com/models.
This offer is subject to availability and expires when 72,500 valid claims have been received.
The NOW TV Promotion claim form must be submitted within 28 days of purchasing a qualifying LG Smart TV.
Once the participant has successfully claimed the promotion, the Sky Movies Month Pass and Sky Sports Day Pass voucher codes will be issued to the participant’s registered email address, along with instructions on how to redeem.
The Sky Movies Pass voucher code must be redeemed by 23:59 GMT on Sunday 31st August 2014.
All Sky Sports Day Passes must be redeemed by Sunday 31st August 2014. This means to make the most of your free passes, six of the seven Sky Sports Day Passes must be redeemed and used to watch content by Saturday 30th August 2014. The seventh Sky Sports Day Pass should be ‘applied’ to your NOW TV account by Sunday 31st August 2014. The seventh Sky Sports Day Pass will then be available to redeem for 365 days from applying the code to your account. You can only use one voucher at a time on your account.
Successful participants shall receive a Sky Movies Pass providing up to 3 months of continuous Sky Movies access. Including access to all live Sky Movies channels and Movies on Demand. Successful participants shall also receive 7 Sky Sports Passes, each providing live access to Sky Sports1, Sky Sports 2, Sky Sports 3, Sky Sports 4, Sky Sports News and Sky Sports F1 channels for 24 hours.
The Promotion is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland) aged 18 or over.
Employees of the Promoter, Administrator, and participating retailers, and their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, and the immediate family members and/or persons living in the same household as such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to claim.
Purchase of a qualifying new LG Smart TV must be made in the United Kingdom.
Purchases from auction websites (e.g. eBay) or marketplace sales through retail websites (e.g. Amazon Marketplace or Play Trade) are specifically excluded from this promotion.
All promotion claims must be submitted online.
Only one successful claim per product will be valid for this promotion. Only one successful claim per email address will be valid for this promotion. Claims submitted through agents or third parties will be disqualified.
Participants must sign into NOW TV in App or online at www.nowtv.com/lgoffer to redeem their NOW TV voucher codes. New customers must sign up to NOW TV and register their payment details. At the end of the 3 month offer period, the Sky Movies Pass subscription shall be taken immediately at £8.99 a month unless cancelled. Customers can cancel their subscription renewing at any time.
Customers may cancel their Sky Movies subscription at any time before their next month is due to start. When the service is cancelled, customers will continue to have access to the Sky Movies Pass service until the end of the month paid for but it will not be automatically renewed after that. Customers may re-activate their Sky Movies Pass service at a later point.
The remainder of the Sky Movies Pass 3 month offer shall be lost if the participant cancels the Sky Movies Pass before the expiry of the relevant period. No refund shall be provided. If the participant cancels the 3 month Sky Movies Pass offer, the validity period of the Sky Sports Passes claimed as part of the Promotion shall be unaffected.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and participants (including a participant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any participant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Participants must upload a scan or photograph of the original purchase receipt as proof of purchase. This must be in a .jpg file format and under 4 MB in size. Failure to produce a legible proof of purchase when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of the participant’s claim and forfeiture of any right to an offer. The purchase receipt must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to the claim.
No responsibility will be accepted for claims not correctly completed or not received by the closing date. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that sufficient details are provided for claims to be processed.
If for any reason a participant does not take the reward or an element of the reward by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the reward or that element of the reward will be forfeited.
If the reward is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the reward with an offer to the equal value and/or specification. There are no cash alternatives in whole or part.
All voucher codes issued under this Promotion are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for claims that are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or corrupted during delivery to or from the Promoter due to any computer malfunction, virus, bug, delay or other reason whatsoever.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for successful claim emails containing the Sky Movies Pass and the Sky Sports Day Passes being misdirected into participant’s junk folder of their emails. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that their inbox is checked sufficiently for the successful claim email.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any participant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the participant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel this Promotion at any time and change the Terms and Conditions without incurring any liability.
Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter (including its associated companies, officers, employees and agents) exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising to participants or otherwise under the Promotion; whether indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim or offer that is late, lost, altered or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (e) use of the reward. The Promoter (including its associated companies, officers, employees and agents) shall not be liable for any postponement, cancellation, delay, changes to the Promotion or failure to fulfill this offer where such failure is caused by any supervening event of force majeure, meaning any event(s) outside the reasonable control of the Promoter (including without limitation the act or default of any third party supplier).
Where applicable, any data collected during the course of the Promotion will be processed and stored wholly in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. If you provide your consent, you agree that the Promoter may use the details you give us to contact you about each of our products and services.
This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Participants irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.
